A 32-year-old man from Tetovo has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to rob a casino in the city by threatening employees with a knife.
According to the Ministry of Interior, K.V. (32) from Tetovo was deprived of his liberty on July 15, 2026. He is suspected of attempting to commit the criminal offence of “robbery” at a casino in Tetovo at around 11:05 a.m. that same day.

During a search carried out after the arrest, police found that the suspect was under the influence of alcohol. A breathalyser test showed a blood alcohol level of 2.49 promille.
The 32-year-old was held at a police station, and following the full clarification and documentation of the case, the relevant criminal complaint will be filed against him.
