Following the latest US strikes, Iran has responded through the spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Sardar Mohebi, who warned that the United States would face a strong counterattack.

Mohebi made the statement in a post on the social media platform X, writing: “The aggressors face severe punishment, and America will regret its new attacks.”
His reaction came shortly after US Central Command announced that it had launched new strikes against IRGC targets in Iran.
The exchange of statements has heightened fears of further escalation between Washington and Tehran. The situation has become even more tense following US President Donald Trump’s warning that the United States would respond with even greater force if Iran carried out reprisals.
