The loss of workers’ lives while carrying out their duties at the Kosovo Energy Corporation has prompted a reaction from trade unionists.

For this reason, the executive board of KEK’s New Trade Union will meet on Monday, August 24, in an urgent meeting to address ongoing concerns over deaths and accidents in the workplace.
During the meeting, the level of workplace safety, the causes that have led to accidents, as well as cases involving injured workers or those who have lost their lives, are expected to be reviewed.
The discussions will also include drafting positions and defining measures aimed at increasing pressure on the employer so that safety conditions in the workplace can be improved.
The meeting will begin at 08:00 and will be held at the offices of KEK’s New Trade Union.
