The end of August has brought increased movement of people and vehicles from Kosovo toward the Albanian coast.

According to data from the Morina/Kukës Border Police Station, between 05:00 and 10:00 on Saturday, 24,408 citizens of Kosovo entered Albania, traveling in 8,592 cars and buses.
This significant influx is linked to Kosovar holidaymakers traveling to Albanian beaches to make the most of the final days of the summer season. Traffic at the Kosovo–Albania border crossing began in the early hours of the morning and is expected to continue throughout the rest of the weekend.
As August draws to a close, Albania’s coastline remains one of the most popular destinations for holidaymakers from Kosovo.
