The final days of August have begun with a large influx of citizens and vehicles from Kosovo heading toward the Albanian coast. At the Morinë/Kukës Border Police Station, on Saturday between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., 24,408 citizens of Kosovo entered the Republic of Albania in 8,592 cars and buses.

The figures show a considerable movement of Kosovar holidaymakers, who are heading to Albania’s beaches for the final days of the summer season.
The flow of vehicles at the Kosovo–Albania border began in the early morning hours and is expected to continue throughout the rest of the weekend.
As the end of August approaches, the Albanian coast remains one of the main destinations for holidaymakers from Kosovo.
