Residents of the Pepaj neighborhood in the village of Gojan, Puka, are facing a dangerous situation after a large fire spiraled out of control and began threatening their homes and lives.

Authorities have begun evacuating residents, who have been temporarily accommodated near the school in Gojan i Madh. In an effort to save their belongings, some of them have taken household furnishings out of their homes, while calling for immediate aerial intervention to contain the spread of the flames.
The operation is being carried out under difficult conditions by firefighting teams and members of the Armed Forces. Concern over the situation has also intensified because of a series of explosions involving old military munitions in the area engulfed by the fire.
As a result, at least 5 homes in the Pepaj neighborhood are under direct threat. The entire area has been covered by dense clouds of smoke, while one of the homes is suspected to have already caught fire.
