A tourist described the moments of shock following the murder of 20-year-old Luis Miguel Varela Mendes in Ksamil, inside the Principote hotel.

He said the incident had greatly frightened the vacationers, who were considering leaving the destination where they had planned to spend their holiday.
“When we woke up this morning, we did not imagine that we would have to face such a situation, as we had come on holiday and were even considering changing locations. We were very frightened because this is an extremely serious incident. We came here to spend a few peaceful days. There is music every evening, and it can also be heard in the hotel. We woke up around 7 o’clock to have breakfast, but then we saw that the police had cordoned off the area. It was a very serious incident,” the vacationer said.
