Although numerous forces have been deployed on the ground to contain and isolate the fire, the situation has worsened due to the wind and high temperatures.
The operation is becoming more difficult because of the mountainous terrain, while firefighting vehicles cannot reach some of the affected areas.
Firefighters, employees of the Bulqizë Municipality and the forestry service, as well as army forces, are working to extinguish the fire.
