The activity focused on close-quarters battle (CQB) in a complex urban environment and marked the conclusion of an intensive three-month training program. The program aimed to improve tactical skills, increase readiness and strengthen interoperability.
Armored vehicles and a KFOR H145M helicopter were used during the exercise. The scenario also incorporated Swiss counter-drone capabilities and Romanian expertise in explosive ordnance disposal (EOD).
“This made it possible to test the integrated company’s ability to plan and conduct complex operations in a realistic environment,” the statement said.
Such exercises help KFOR personnel maintain a high level of operational readiness and enhance situational awareness. Through them, KFOR demonstrates its continued commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all residents of Kosovo.
