Turkey has been rocked by a double murder in which a 36-year-old man killed his 27-year-old wife and 56-year-old brother-in-law after claiming he suspected they were having an affair.
The serious incident occurred at around 10:00 on Tuesday in the Yildirim district of Bursa.

Turkish media report that Ismail Matur, 36, first attacked his brother-in-law, Yavuz Yilmaz, 56, shooting him eight times in the middle of the street and killing him.
The perpetrator then returned to his home, where he also shot and killed his 27-year-old wife, Canan.
Police officers who arrived at the scene arrested the 36-year-old and seized the weapon he used to kill his wife and brother-in-law.
While speaking to officers after his arrest, Ismail Matur allegedly told them that “it was a matter of honor to kill them.”
The police investigation is continuing to fully establish the circumstances of the double murder.
