Arben Taravari, chairman of the Alliance for Albanians, has criticized the Albanian representatives of the VLEN coalition in North Macedonia, saying that their role in the country’s government is merely decorative.

According to Taravari, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski uses VLEN as a political instrument.
“In the first government, there were six Albanian ministers. Now there is only one Albanian. Through his actions, Mickoski is saying that he has shown Albanians their place. Mickoski has VLEN as a political instrument; the Albanian representatives in the government look more like decoration,” Taravari said on the program “Debate Corner” on Tëvë1.
He recalled that his decision to leave the government came precisely as a result of Mickoski’s lack of respect for and appreciation of VLEN.
