The constitutive session of Parliament resumed an hour late and ended after just a few minutes. Nevertheless, even this brief period was marked by tensions, particularly after LVV leader Albin Kurti took the podium.

During his speech, Kurti did not put forward a candidate for the post of parliamentary speaker, but requested more time to reach a political agreement.
After returning to his seat in the central part of the chamber, Alliance MP Time Kadrijaj approached him and threw eggs in Kurti’s direction. Following the incident, the chair of the session decided to suspend Parliament’s proceedings.
