After 68 days of rallies, protesters say they are determined not to stop the civic action until Edi Rama resigns. On the 69th day as well, they are expected to return to the streets, marching and chanting slogans against the government.
During the protest, the following slogans are expected to be heard: “Rama in prison, Berisha in prison”, “Albania demands revolution”, “Your end has come”, “Edi Rama, resign”, “The homeland is not for sale” and “Unity makes strength”.
If their demands are not taken into consideration, participants have warned that the action could escalate, including the blocking of roads.
Organizers and citizens involved in the gatherings have announced that the protest will continue in the coming days. They reiterate that their demands remain the prime minister’s resignation and his investigation by SPAK.
