Veton Berisha: I Will Vote in Favor of the President; I Have No Issue With Anyone

Veton Berisha, an MP elected from the Egyptian Liberal Party, said he would vote in support of the President as soon as the nominee’s name is presented to the Assembly.

“What matters to me is that the state functions. I also support the President; I have no issue with anyone,” Berisha said briefly before the start of the constitutive session.

Meanwhile, MPs have begun arriving in the chamber for the session, which was scheduled to begin at 10:00.
