Fitore Pacolli, acting Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning, announced that three cases were referred to the Basic Prosecution in Pristina for investigation today. According to her, clarification is being sought regarding suspicions of the unlawful expropriation and alienation of public property.

Pacolli stressed that institutions have a duty to protect public property and that this also constitutes a responsibility toward citizens.
“No one can benefit unlawfully at the expense of the public interest,” she wrote.
She said that the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning would continue taking all legal measures to protect public property and would seek accountability for any suspicion related to its misuse.
