A protester who came from the diaspora said he had joined the protest because of the lack of basic conditions in Albania, where, according to him, nothing has changed in the past 25 years.

He called for Rama’s resignation and revealed that a petition had been launched in Germany to have him declared dangerous.
“I am fighting for the rights of all Albanians. Everyone must rise up because prices are very high. I have lived in Germany for 25 years, while the economy here is hellish. In Germany, the average salary is 1,500 euros and a kilogram of rice costs 80 cents.
Many people in Germany have called Rama dangerous. If we continue to wait, the country will be sold off. We are seeing no change. In Kamëz, residents still buy water from tanker trucks. There is no water, schools, roads or security. Let the people be free and leave,” he declared.
