Citizens of Rrogozhinë protested today against the proposed changes to the territorial division, opposing the merger of the Rrogozhinë Municipality with the Kavajë Municipality. They called for the decision to be reconsidered.

Holding banners, the participants called on the government to withdraw the law on territorial division and listen to the will of the community.
Residents argue that Rrogozhinë’s history, identity and capacities enable it to function as a separate administrative unit. They warned that the protests would continue until the institutions provide them with a response.
