Shqipe Pantina, a delegate to the Democratic League of Kosovo Assembly, said Lumir Abdixhiku’s continuation as LDK leader proves that democracy has prevailed.

According to her, Abdixhiku received 170 votes in favor, while 152 delegates voted against and five abstained.
“The result is that Abdixhiku remains leader. I hope we will now talk about moving forward. There were 170 votes in favor, 152 against and five abstentions. Democracy has prevailed. I respect the decisions of the majority. It does not matter whether I agree or not; the majority has spoken. Today’s vote was democratic,” Pantina said.
Meanwhile, proceedings at the LDK Assembly are expected to resume in 30 minutes, while the party leadership is currently reviewing the items on the agenda.
