The leader of the Democratic Union for Integration, Ali Ahmeti, met with Bruno Ceka, a representative of the Albanian-American Organization for North Macedonia. Their talks focused on the current political situation in the country and the challenges facing Albanians.

In a Facebook post, Ahmeti said particular attention was paid to the stalled implementation of the Ohrid Agreement, infringements of the Law on the Use of the Albanian Language, and ensuring fair and adequate representation of Albanians in state institutions.
The discussion also addressed the need to accelerate North Macedonia’s integration into the European Union, which the two described as the country’s only strategic course. They also discussed the need to strengthen the enduring partnership with the United States of America.
The meeting also examined the impasse surrounding the administration of the bar examination. Ahmeti called for a swift solution, stressing that the issue directly affects many young professionals and that the relevant institutions must implement the existing legal framework.
The DUI leader described the meeting as useful. According to him, the talks were held in a spirit of cooperation and shared commitment to advancing the rights of Albanians, as well as accelerating North Macedonia’s path toward Europe.
