According to meteorologist Slavço Poposki, starting next week, the territory will be invaded by hot air of African origin, coming from the south.
“On Monday and thereafter, the thermometer will rise rapidly. In most regions of Macedonia, temperatures are expected to exceed 30 to 35 degrees Celsius, while in the Povardarie area and in the southeast of the country they will mark up to 38 degrees Celsius,” warned Poposki.
July 27, Monday, remains the only day with atmospheric instability, when there may be strong short-term rains, accompanied by thunderstorms and strong wind.
From Tuesday, July 28, the situation will calm down completely. Sunny, stable weather is expected to prevail, with few cloud passages in some areas.
Poposki also emphasized that these sudden and strong temperature swings may negatively affect health, especially for individuals who are sensitive to meteorological factors.
