The employment contracts of 20 MESP officials have been terminated.
A decision was made today to terminate the employment contracts of 20 MESP officials from the Serbian community, who are also known as members of the former “Civil Protection”. This action was taken due to their continued absence from work, as well as in accordance with the recommendations of the National Audit Office.
Official data show that these officials, employed by the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning since January 5, 2016, have failed to carry out the obligations arising from their employment relationship. This includes repeated absences from the workplace and failure to perform their work duties.
We will ensure full legality and equal standards for every employee in the public administration. No one can retain their employment status without fulfilling the obligations required of them. We will be uncompromising in enforcing the law, regardless of affiliation or position, because public service must serve citizens responsibly and in full compliance with official duties.
