The owner of a restaurant in Hani i Elezit has been questioned by police after several people were suspected of being poisoned after consuming food at the establishment.
According to the police report, on 15 July 2026, a Kosovar man was questioned at a police station as a suspect.

Police said the suspicions are linked to the poisoning of several people who had eaten at his restaurant.
The investigation is ongoing. The prosecutor has been notified and authorized the opening of a case file.
Meanwhile, the Food and Veterinary Agency said it had carried out emergency official inspections to assist the responsible institutions in determining the possible cause and protecting public health.
