Prishtina Court extends detention for Fatmir Sheholli by two months, suspected of espionage

Fatmir Sheholli will remain in detention for another 60 days, according to a decision by the Prishtina Court.

He is being investigated for espionage charges.

Mirlinda Gashi, spokesperson for the court, confirmed that the security measure was extended following a request from the Special Prosecution of Kosovo.

According to her statement, the preliminary procedure judge approved the request of the Special Prosecution, assessing that there is reasonable suspicion that the defendant F.Sh. has committed the criminal offense of ‘Continuous Espionage’. The ruling orders the extension of detention for a period of two months.
