Three representatives from North Macedonia — MP and coordinator of the VLEN parliamentary group Bekim Qoku, MP Adnan Azizi, and the Deputy Secretary General of the Government, Hasim Murtezani — said that they were denied entry into Albania today.
However, sources at the Qafë-Thana border crossing on the Albanian side told Euronews Albania that no incident was recorded and no ban on entry into Albanian territory was imposed on these three officials from North Macedonia.

According to border and migration officials in southeastern Albania, they were traveling together with a fourth citizen, who had problems with his passport and for that reason could not enter the Republic of Albania.
The response clarifies that the other three officials were able to cross without any obstacle, but chose to turn back and not cross the border.
