Education and Science Minister Vesna Janevska announced that during last month and this month, around 30 students traveled to represent Macedonia at international science olympiads, while all the costs of their participation were fully covered by the state.
She stressed that the Ministry of Education and Science, together with the Government, for the second year in a row has provided full funding for travel expenses and registration fees for these young talents, with the aim of ensuring that their families are not burdened with additional financial costs.

“This is how it will continue to be. Our talents deserve full support to advance, develop their knowledge and show that Macedonia has young people who compete on equal terms with the best in the world,” Janevska said.
The Ministry underlined that support for students taking part in prestigious international competitions is part of its commitments to encourage excellence in education and create conditions for young people to develop their skills and represent the country at the highest level.
