Granit Pepnika, who had been declared wanted as part of the group that swindled 50 million euros from European citizens through Call Center fraud, was arrested around midday this Friday in Dhërmi.
It is reported that Pepnika was detained at a resort in Dhërmi. The operation was carried out by the Local Directorate and the Operational Forces of Vlora.

His arrest comes as part of the high-profile call center case, which is suspected of having defrauded hundreds of European citizens and caused financial damage estimated at more than 50 million euros.
