Protesters Surround Parliament, Main Exit Blocked and MPs and Ministers Remain Inside

Tensions outside Parliament have escalated significantly. After the end of the plenary session, government ministers and Socialist Party MPs remained stranded inside the Parliament building.

This was caused by the movement of a large number of protesters, who sat on the ground and completely blocked the building’s main entrance and exit.

With their presence, the citizens formed a human cordon that prevented the movement of official vehicles.

Police forces immediately intervened at the scene, attempting to open a passage and remove the protesters from the road. But they were met with strong resistance from the citizens, who refused to leave and continued sitting on the asphalt, chanting in unison against the government.
