The Appeals Court in Tirana has upheld the 17-year prison sentence for Erjon Llapushi, who is accused of killing waiter Gazmend Kumaraku at the “Fish City” bar-restaurant.
The ruling issued today leaves in force the decision of the Court of First Instance in Elbasan, which had sentenced Erjon Llapushi, from Pogradec, to 17 years in prison.

The incident took place in 2021, and since then Llapushi has remained on the run.
Despite several operations carried out by Korça police and RENEA forces to arrest him, Erjon Llapushi has once again managed to evade capture.
