Two houses and a weekend house were engulfed by a fire in Veles today.
The Mayor of the Municipality of Veles, Marko Kolev, announced that during this afternoon, the spread of the active flames, which had started in the area known as Trite dola, was successfully prevented thanks to the firefighters’ swift and timely response.

He expressed regret over the damage caused.
In his statement, Kolev thanked the Veles Fire and Rescue Service for its professional intervention with 16 firefighters, as well as the socially responsible company “Uni Agro,” which assisted in the operation with machinery, and all the people involved in extinguishing and containing the fire.
He also expressed gratitude to the firefighters and called on citizens to show greater care and attention.
