Protest Enters Its 28th Day, Citizens Gather in Skanderbeg Square

In Tirana, the protest by activists and citizens is being held again this Saturday, having reached its 28th day, while the central demand remains the resignation of the prime minister and the entire government.

As on previous days, protesters began gathering in Skanderbeg Square at 19:00 due to the high temperatures. They are then expected to move toward the Prime Minister’s Office building, where they will voice their demands, before continuing with a march through the streets of the capital.

A few days earlier, the organizers published the main points of their demands, which include the resignation of the prime minister and the government, as well as the establishment of a non-partisan transitional technical government with a 12-month mandate.
