During his official visit to Vienna, Acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Kreshnik Ahmeti met with lawmakers who are part of the Parliamentary Group for bilateral relations with Kosovo.
The meeting addressed the close relations between Kosovo and Austria, opportunities to further deepen cooperation, as well as the latest political and security developments in the region and in Europe.

As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora announced, “Special attention was devoted to the role of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening ties between the two countries. The parties expressed their willingness to intensify contacts and to establish more regular cooperation between the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo and the Parliament of Austria.”
Ahmeti thanked the lawmakers for the continued support Austria has given to Kosovo, underscoring the importance of this backing for advancing the European and international agenda of the Republic of Kosovo.
