According to data from the State Statistical Office, cases of violent deaths in 2025 increased by 6.8 percent compared to the previous year. A total of 546 people were recorded, of whom 374 were men and 172 were women.
As the State Statistical Office announced, the largest share of the total number of violent deaths consists of accidental cases, accounting for 82.2%, or 449 people. They are followed by suicides at 14.8%, or 81 people, and homicides at 2.9%, or 16 people.
