Arrested Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj, who faces 13 charges for five serious criminal offenses, has continued with the strategy of delaying court proceedings at the Special Court.
Even at today’s hearing at the Special Court, Veliaj, acting like a coward, did not appear to confront the facts and evidence that cast him in a dark light.

The court decided to postpone the proceedings due to the absence of lawyer Plarent Ndreca, who, we recall, is also under investigation by the Special Prosecution, where he is suspected of abuses involving police tenders from the time when Ndreca was Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior.
Meanwhile, the next hearing was scheduled to be held on July 7 at 10:00.
