“Building on the strong foundations of our ties with Switzerland, laid by the diaspora and by Swiss hospitality during difficult times for Kosovo Albanians, we are developing and advancing our relations as a Republic while expanding our cooperation. With EFTA’s entry into force last month, that cooperation marks a new chapter in free trade, covering services as well as goods,” the prime minister said.

The parties discussed opportunities to deepen cooperation between their governments and business sectors. The meeting also addressed Switzerland’s importance in integration processes and highlighted Mr. Cassis’s role as chair in ensuring equal standards in OSCE reporting and representation for the Republic of Kosovo in the organization.
