A car was left at the edge of a cliff on Sunday in Positano, Italy, after the driver lost control and crashed into roadside safety barriers.
The accident happened on Via Guglielmo Marconi in the coastal town on the Amalfi Coast, in the province of Salerno.

Italian media reported that a young man was driving the car. The reason he lost control has not yet been established.
The vehicle spun around and struck the safety railings with force, destroying them. It then came to rest hanging over the edge of the cliff, at risk of plunging into the ravine.
Despite the danger, the driver got out of the car on his own and did not suffer serious injuries.
