Police operational units are continuing checks and patrols in various areas of Tirana in an effort to identify and escort in for questioning individuals suspected of taking part in incidents during the protest.
Although the latest footage shows that the crowd has dispersed, officers remain present on the ground. According to reports so far, police have not determined the location of the groups of protesters.

Several people have reportedly been escorted to police stations following clashes near the Ministry of Education, where Molotov cocktails were reportedly thrown and clashes broke out between protesters and law enforcement officers.
The crowd was dispersed after repeated announcements over loudspeakers and the use of water cannon trucks forced protesters to leave the security perimeter.
Police checks and patrols on the ground are continuing.
