After being approved by the Assembly of our Republic, the Law on the Bureau for the Verification and Confiscation of Unjustifiable Assets was sent to the Constitutional Court twice: the first time in February 2023 and the second time in December 2024.
Today, the Assembly approved it again at second reading. I thank the lawmakers who voted for it. They kept us waiting for more than three and a half years, but this will not divert us from our rightful and long-awaited goal: that assets in our Republic be fair, clean and in line with income.
