Today, the PDK submitted 24 amendments to the draft law on the State Bureau for the Verification and Confiscation of Unjustifiable Assets, but only one secured the necessary votes in Parliament.
According to PDK MP Përparim Gruda, the proposals were intended to improve the draft law, bring it into line with the requirements of the Constitutional Court, and ensure legal certainty for people who may be investigated by the Bureau.

Gruda said the amendments reflected the PDK’s willingness to improve and vote for the law in accordance with the requirements of Kosovo’s Constitutional Court.
He added that their adoption would make the law constitutional and useful for the purpose for which it was drafted, while also ensuring legal certainty for all people who may be subject to an investigation by the Bureau.
