Agron Shehaj, leader of the Mundësia Party, has called Prime Minister Edi Rama’s statement that he personally arranged for Erion Vishkulli to be sent to Italy for treatment a lie. Vishkulli, 28, was shot in the eye with a rubber bullet by police during the October 24 protest.
Shehaj shared a response from the young man’s sister, who described Rama’s statement as propaganda. She said Erion’s family, friends and supporters—not the prime minister—are arranging his trip to Italy.

Erion’s sister called on news websites to stop spreading Edi Rama’s propaganda and report the truth, saying the prime minister had done nothing for the young man and that his family had covered everything.
The Mundësia Party leader said the propaganda “no longer works” and called on Edi Rama to resign.
Shehaj also shared a message from Erion’s hospital bed. Despite his serious condition, the young man urged protesters to keep going and not stop until victory, saying: “We will win. Albania is ours.”
“Edi Rama will not succeed. He must resign. His stale propaganda is finished,” Shehaj concluded.
