Tensions rise near Socialist Party headquarters as protesters throw fireworks and pyrotechnics

A large number of protesters have gathered in Skanderbeg Square and outside the Socialist Party headquarters, which has reportedly been targeted during the rally.

Protesters have thrown a considerable quantity of fireworks and pyrotechnic devices at police officers and the Socialist Party building.

Meanwhile, officers are once again attempting to use the means at their disposal to disperse the crowd, as the situation continues to grow increasingly tense.
