Several passenger vehicles were seized in different areas of Plačkovica after they were found transporting large quantities of illegally cut and unstamped firewood.
The seizure took place during a joint operation involving the Ministry of Interior, employees of the “Forests of Macedonia” public enterprise and the Forestry Police. According to Kire Mihailov, the vehicles were being used to transport firewood illegally cut in the Shtip region.

The operation began early this morning and focused on a group of wood thieves who, according to Mihailov, had been operating in the Shtip region for some time.
Mihailov announced that such operations would continue. He said they would not allow any region in Macedonia to remain at the mercy of wood thieves.
