Vlora Çitaku, acting chairwoman of the PDK, has appealed to Albanians in the Preševo Valley to vote for the Albanian Coalition, number 17, in tomorrow’s elections.
In a post, she recalled that the Albanian Coalition is running on October 25 to represent Albanians in Serbia’s Parliament. Çitaku called on residents of Preševo, Bujanovac and Medveđa in particular to support it in large numbers and with determination. She said more Albanian lawmakers in Parliament would mean greater representation, protection, rights and influence, as well as more opportunities to oppose discriminatory and persecutory policies against Albanians.

Çitaku said every Albanian should not only vote but also work to encourage every Albanian voter to take part in the elections. She described this as a defining moment for Albanians in the Valley and wished them success.
