The acting chairwoman of the PDK, Vlora Çitaku, has reacted after the official request that the PDK Parliamentary Group sent yesterday to President Justina Shiroka-Pula for the return to the Assembly of the Law on the Special Court.
Through a reaction on Facebook, Çitaku stated that the law protecting the KLA will be approved, emphasizing that within four weeks it will be reconsidered by the Assembly and will enter into force within the set deadlines.

“The law that protects the KLA will pass! I am saying it from the start, leaving no room for doubt: within four weeks, the law will be reconsidered in the Assembly and will enter into force within the foreseen deadlines. This is our pledge and we will stand by it until the end.
I understand the concern of those who have sincerely supported this law, and we welcome well-founded criticism.
But one thing must be clear: the PDK’s request for the return of the law to the Assembly is neither a withdrawal from it – nor does it weaken it. Our position remains the same as the day we proposed it and when we voted for it,” Çitaku wrote.
She explained that, in the capacity of sponsor, the process has been given an additional four weeks to respond to the questions raised.
“The goal is one and only one: to remove any doubt, to strengthen the legal basis of the law, and to ensure its implementation in practice.
For the PDK and within the PDK, there is no other topic except bringing this law to life, for which we are fully united and determined.
To the citizens who protested, to our supporters, and to all those who believed in this initiative, I say: the pledge we have made before you stands. And we will carry it through to the end!” she added.
