A graduation ceremony for 515 recruits of the Kosovo Security Force was held today at the “Adem Jashari” barracks in Pristina. They solemnly swore to serve the state and its citizens.
Standing before their commanding officers, with state and military flags beside them, the new soldiers lined up and raised their right hands as they recited the oath together.

Through the oath, they pledged full commitment and loyalty to the Republic of Kosovo, as well as to obey the orders of the President of the Republic of Kosovo and their commanding officers, in accordance with the law. They also promised to perform their duties with diligence, honor and dignity.
The oath also included a pledge to uphold the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and serve the people and their homeland, even at the cost of their lives in their defense. At the end, the recruits repeated the words “I swear!” three times.
