Finance Minister Hekuran Murati and Auditor General Vlora Spanca will appear today before the Kosovo Assembly’s Committee on Public Finance Oversight to report on the audit of the Republic of Kosovo’s budget for 2025.
The committee session is expected to begin at 14:00. Members will review the Auditor General’s report on the Annual Audit Report of Kosovo’s Budget for 2025.

The discussion will cover public financial management, budget execution and compliance with legal and financial rules by the responsible institutions.
The audit report assesses how public money has been managed and spent, while also providing an overview of institutions’ financial administration during the year in question.
Committee members may ask Murati and Spanca to clarify issues covered in the report and explain measures aimed at implementing the audit recommendations.
The Committee on Public Finance Oversight exercises parliamentary scrutiny over the use of budget funds and holds public institutions accountable.
