Students threw chairs at the Prime Minister’s Office door, Rama places boulevard stones with the message: Dialogue!

After the repeated refusal of students and lecturers to sit down in dialogue with him, this Thursday, Prime Minister Edi Rama has changed the way he addresses the protesters.

A day after the young people broke and threw toward the Prime Minister’s Office door the chairs placed as a symbol of the invitation for dialogue, the head of government has renewed the call for discussion, this time using the symbolism of “stones.”

For two consecutive days, Rama placed chairs, but the students refused dialogue, throwing and breaking the chairs. They say there is no possibility for dialogue with Prime Minister Rama, demanding his resignation.

Lecturers have also joined the students’ protest, announcing a boycott of teaching.

Every day they march from the Polytechnic University to the Prime Minister’s Office, in solidarity with the young people, but also opposing police violence against them.
