Another decision by the Council of Ministers changes the bonus scheme for State Police employees, approved on October 19, 2026, in response to the violent protests taking place in Tirana. Under the new changes, the number of beneficiaries increases from 2,750 to 2,821 employees.
Alongside the increase in the number of beneficiaries, the financial fund allocated for the bonus is also increased. From the initial amount of 740,080,000 lekë, the fund now stands at 759,187,520 lekë.

The new decision enters into force immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette.
The changes therefore affect both the number of beneficiary employees and the total fund allocated for their bonuses.
