The young woman said they had taken to the streets for three months and protested peacefully, but no one had listened to them.
She said that all state institutions should be destroyed, while apologizing to any private businesses affected.
The student became emotional as she said she was alone in Albania because her family was abroad, adding that those in power could not steal and grow rich on their taxes.
“You and all the others should know very well that your end will come. He uses rubber batons to attack people. People could die here. Do you know what happens if a student dies here? You will have the entire nation on its feet. They are taking away our future. We came out peacefully for three months, but no one listened to us. Every day, this is what we will do. We will be here every day. Did anyone want to speak? I am speaking.

What do we want? First, Rama’s resignation, because he has made our lives miserable. Second, the dormitories must be in proper condition. Third, respect the rules and laws; there must be justice. Lawyers must no longer be killed, as the one over there was. Do not use violence against people when they demand their rights. This is what we want. We do not want anything else. We are asking for our basic rights. They should go after all the banks, and every institution should be set on fire. We are asking forgiveness from the private businesses that have been burned. They may have been affected; as a student, I apologize to them.
Let the others burn and be set on fire, starting with Parliament. Then Kiduina and Zegjineja come out and say that these are not students. I studied at the Faculty of Economics. It took me five years to attend work and school. It is painful to live here. I have no family member here. My sister and brother have left. My parents are also abroad. That is why I have come out here. Parents should support us too.
There is no solution anymore. They get rich from our taxes. They buy villas. They live in apartments, like Belinda Balluku. Students who have done nothing are dragged away and made to work one against six, while Vlora, who appears with Ergys Agasi, is escorted from the car like a lady. Isn’t this painful?” she said.
She also added that they would not give up their protest.
“We build beautiful towers. When will we ever be able to buy one of their towers on a salary of 530,000 lek? We are forced to live in homes with girls we do not know at all. There is no other solution; the students will not stop anymore. Let them use as much violence as they want; they cannot silence our voice. Only if you kill us will you no longer see us here. We have nothing left to lose.”
