BDI states that the European Commission has announced the preparation of membership roadmaps for Albania, Montenegro, Moldova and Ukraine, while North Macedonia does not appear on this list.

According to the party, the country was once ranked first in the region, but has now fallen behind, while other countries have advanced.
BDI links this situation directly to the Government’s policies. According to the party, over the past two years the Government has offered no solutions, opened no chapters and taken no steps forward, but has focused on justifications, clashes and blaming others.
The party says the consequences of this stance are already becoming visible, as other countries will have plans, deadlines and greater opportunities to benefit from European funds and the European market. Meanwhile, according to BDI, North Macedonia is moving away from the group of countries that are advancing toward membership.
BDI is demanding that the Government give citizens answers about the reasons for exclusion from the list, the plan that will be followed, and the cost that this blockage will cause the country.
“The responsibility lies with the Government. It took over a state with an open process and is leaving it without direction, without deadlines and outside the enlargement map. Europe is advancing, while Albania and Montenegro are moving forward. Only North Macedonia is being held hostage by this Government,” BDI says./Telegrafi/
