Alliance MP Besnik Tahiri said that, so far, they had received no notification about the convening of a session or the scheduling of any new meetings.

He called for MPs to convene as soon as possible to vote on the Law on the Specialized Chambers in its second reading.
According to Tahiri, on Monday, the final day for the election of the president, MPs remained in the chamber believing that, after the agenda items had been completed, the law would also be put to a vote.
Tahiri said that MPs had approved 22 items, trusting that the law would be considered at the end, but were later informed that the session would not continue. He stressed that the four people in the Specialized Chambers were waiting for Kosovo’s institutions to support them in a difficult situation and that, therefore, the vote was essential.
The Alliance MP added that the session had still not been convened and that they had no information about any planned meeting either. He explained that the Alliance was not taking part in meetings because it had decided to stay outside the designated agenda items, adding that he saw no effort to reach an agreement.
Meanwhile, Tahiri announced that the AAK and PDK did not have the 40 signatures needed to convene the session and compel MPs to participate in the discussion. According to him, the two parties had only 30 signatures.
He said that the commitment made the previous day was for the session, which had 22 agenda items, to contain only one item: the Law on the Specialized Chambers. Tahiri explained that the Alliance, as well as the PDK on certain occasions, had voted on several laws believing that all 22 items would be completed and that the law would then pass in its second reading.
Tahiri stressed that this was why his MPs had remained in the session for the other 21 items, apart from the international agreements. He added that otherwise they would not have stayed to secure a quorum for the government, arguing that if the government wanted to govern, it should secure the quorum itself.
